โWe cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. โ
โVery close to Storyland and right next to a great restaurant, RedFox. Staff was polite and the hotel provided everything we needed for our one night stay.โ
โWe had a very nice time. Our 11 year old granddaughter liked the pool, toasting marshmallows and playing chess. It was very close to everything. I would recommend it to everyone. โ
โWe were a family of five and this was a great space for our family of four adults and one preteen to stay for one night before heading to Mt Washington.โ
โI enjoyed the little room we stayed in at this Inn. It is small but cute. The days we were at the Inn the Tavern and restaurant were closed, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, so that made the visit very quiet and pleasant, but we did miss being able to have meals and enjoy live music and such. It was a nice, comfortable, well appointed and clean place to stay, with local charm and close to Storyland and North Conway. โ
โThis lodge is a hidden treasure. It is humble, but clean, and nicely maintained. The setting is gorgeous and the location is so charming. We were traveling through, but Iโd love to return and spend more time in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful.โ
