Brescia Antica
The ancient core of Brescia comes alive in Brescia Antica, where Roman ruins stand beside medieval towers and Renaissance palaces. UNESCO-listed Santa Giulia Museum showcases archaeological treasures spanning millennia in this pedestrian-friendly historic district. Twin cathedrals dominate Piazza del Duomo, creating a stunning architectural timeline. Traditional osterias serve local specialties like casoncelli pasta along narrow cobblestone streets lined with honey-colored buildings. Artisan workshops sell handcrafted ceramics while intimate wine bars create sophisticated evening atmospheres. This neighborhood rewards history enthusiasts with authentic Italian culture away from mass tourism.

Centro Storico Sud
Centro Storico Sud captures the essence of ancient Brescia through its remarkably preserved Roman ruins and Renaissance treasures. Wander cobblestone streets where the UNESCO-listed Santa Giulia Museum complex showcases millennia of Italian heritage. Discover hidden piazzas dotted with charming cafes beneath historic arcades. This pedestrian-friendly district makes exploration a delight with limited traffic interrupting your journey through time. Traditional osterias serve authentic Lombard cuisine while artisan workshops offer handcrafted goods. The warm honey-colored buildings and evening church bells create an atmosphere that truly transports you to another era.

Centro Storico Nord
Step back in time at Centro Storico Nord, where Roman ruins mingle with Renaissance grandeur and medieval charm. This northern section of Brescia's old town features the UNESCO-listed Santa Giulia Museum complex and stunning Piazza della Loggia. Car-free cobblestone streets make exploring a pleasure. History buffs will treasure the Capitolium's ancient columns and Torre dell'Orologio's timeless facade. Local trattorias serve traditional Lombard cuisine between museum visits. The pedestrian-only zones connect major attractions through narrow streets where church bells echo across terracotta rooftops.

Lamarmora
While you're strolling through Lamarmora, you may want to check out the restaurants and gardens. If you want to see more of the area, hop on the metro at Lamarmora Station or Bresciadue Station.

Porta Venezia
Porta Venezia is well-liked for its historic sites. If you'd like to do some sightseeing in the greater Brescia area, you might plan a trip to Brescia Castle or Santa Giulia Museum.

"Beautiful hotel in the great location! Amazing lake view from the balcony! Good breakfast on the terrace . Silvia helped us with the parking and luggage which we really appreciated. Hotel Serenella
"We loved our stay!! The location is close to the action within the walled city but still offin a quiet corner. The private “beach” was so nice and relaxing! We will definitely go again"
Hotel Sirmione Terme
"The hotel is in a super location on the lake, with stunning views. The hotel rooms are quite basic and dated. Carpets in hallways dirty and threadbare. Restaurant food was good, but service over our 5 day stay was incredibly disappointing and impersonal. We were constantly chasing staff for service, which was very annoying. The breakfast set-up is poor, disorganised and no one really in charge to keep things running smoothly. The pool and spa area are lovely and definitely a highlight."
