The service was terrible in every way. First, we wanted to leave our luggage at the property, but we couldn't; we had to go to another location about 10 minutes away to drop it off. We tried to check in early so we wouldn't have to go to the location 10 minutes away, but they wouldn't let us do it just two hours beforehand since the apartment was empty. Then we found out that in order to get the key to the main door in case we wanted to arrive after 10 PM, we had to go to a third location about a 10-minute walk away to get it. In short, it was quite an ordeal to get into the building due to poor communication from Smartflats. To top off the bad experience, the shower in the bathtub didn't work, so we had to shower with glasses of water. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.

It was nice being right next to the Grand Place, but there were quite a few things that were not set up well. I was given the wrong code twice to get the key from a different address, the door downstairs got a new lock and code two days into our stay, and I was not informed beforehand, there is no air conditioning or fan (and it gets humid in Brussels), the room was doable, but there are a lot of things that could be changed (torn material on chair, blood stain on duvet cover, tape keeping window closed, etc.).

Terrified. Firstly credit cards were stolen because small window in bathroom was left open before we arrived. Next night at 1 pm someone had a code to the front door and was knocking increasingly louder on our apartment door then tried to smash the door open. With yelling loudly they ran down the stairs. My Stay was excellent in general. Due to the Location of the property. However there was a few problems with our room. My girlfriend did not feel safe due to an inability to lock the door from the inside the apartment. We found the apartment a struggle to find for a while due to a lack of clear advertisement. The cleanliness wasnโ€™t the best as there was handprints on the kitchen table and a few hairs in the bed it was just given a quick clean. Having said all that if the minor things were ironed out the apartment would be lovely as it was very spacious and great designed apartment

Cut my stay in brussels short and left the next morning due to conditions of the hotel. Pullout bed/ couch was covered in white stains, can only assume that they were bodily fluids... Smartflats changed my booking on the day of arrival at 16:30 when I was due to get to the property at 18:30. They moved me to a different flat which was very difficult to find The flat was dirty, had cracked window, and was nothing like the flat I had seen on Expedia. Avoid avoidโ€ฆnothing like advertised! Mi aventura en smartflat comenzรณ el dia de antes de coger mi vuelo. Me enviaron un mensaje cambiando mi apartamento de al lado de la gran place por uno mas lejano sin explicaciones cuando mi reserva estaba pagada y confirmada desde haciaa mucho tiempo. A 1h de coger mi vuelo no me habรญan enviado los codigos de acceso al apartamento. Tuve que llamar porque salir de viaje con 2 niรฑas pequeรฑas sin tener asegurado donde vamos a dormir y teniendo en cuenta que llegabamos de noche no era plan y hay que tener en cuenta que hay que comunicarse con ellos en ingles porque no hablan espaรฑol. Al llegar al nuevo apartamento nos encontramos que el apartamento es un 5 piso, el ascensor no funciona hace meses y se sube por una escalera de caracol con 2 niรฑas pequeรฑas sus correspondientes carritos y las maletas de la familia. Al acceder al apartamento nos encontramos con la barra cortina medio caidas, con el peligro que le caiga a alguien en la cabeza.el lavavajillas no funciona, no hay escoba ni fregona. No hay tv aunque en la oferta estaba. La duxa esta enverdecida y con mucha cal. Hay un numero para llamar. Llamamos todos los dรญas nos dicen que pasan el reporte pero ni vino nadie ni arreglaron nada. Resumen: huir de estos apartamentos
