โIf youโre looking for a place to stay in this area I would recommend The Ring OโBells. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with the things you need for a stay. Had a good nightโs sleep, lovely to wake up feeling refreshed.
Rooms are up some metal stairs, no problem for us but be aware if you struggle with steps.
Breakfast was excellent. Recommend the Eggs Benedict!

โThis was our first stay at this hotel, the location was lovely and extremely close to the sandy beach. Our room was comfortable with a sea view and the food was excellent, including a family celebration lunch there. It also has access to a nearby sea ferry, and connecting tractor, which takes you to nearby Salcombe. The hotel has its own car park which was really helpful.โ
โThe Harbour Hotel Salcombe gives guests stunning views over the Salcombe estuary from both bedrooms and public areas. It is a bonus to be able to park the car and walk to the local shops and cafรฉs. Staff were friendly and helpful. โ
โThe property was clearly undergoing a transformation and only partly ready for the public. However the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was very good. Some nice touches make the stay a step above the ordinary. โ
โVery friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends.โ
