“The property is beautiful and serene, the front desk staff need a little more training as instead of checking for my bookings first asked me to prove that I had booked and paid online. In fact they assured me that I would be put out as all rooms were filled up, when I asked to talk to their manager is when they looked and found my name actually on the list. Otherwise my stay was lovely, I will go again with family n friends.”

The staff were all very friendly and De Rain, the owner was often around and very helpful booking trips. It had a very good kitchen. It is next to a busy road but I couldn’t hear it in my room and it didn’t affect my stay. It was so lovely being on the banks of Lake Victoria. ”

“Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...
