“The Shakun hotel is well located in the city and just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the main road; it's great for tour pick-ups and grabbing an Uber to dinner in the evening. The hotel is a little dated and perhaps not quite as grand as it once was. We travelled outside of peak season and it felt like the staff had been switched to a less experienced team who perhaps weren't as knowledgeable about service. However, they were always really friendly when we approached them. However,...

“Great location and great Team … very caring !!”

“Quirky property. Great location, clean, comfortable, functional. Attentive staff. Slight difficultly with English language but not enough to be a problem.”

“The property is very beautiful, and the rooms are exceptional! Each room is different having a heritage value. The staff is cooperative but slow as compared to premium hotel chains. If you’re looking for a breakfast buffet, let me clarify that they do not have a laid out breakfast buffet but they do give you options to choose from. However, the breakfast was delicious! They do not have a restaurant but they have a sister property - peacock restaurant nearby”

“Big room with huge bath room. Very antique futnitures. Service was good. One thing is location. Not far from M.I road but still need to take a tuktuk. But hotel is good enough to havea rest.”

“breakfast is good and restaurent for dinner is good. but they do not changed sheet everyday-but we accepted for pollutions. we had three bitter experiences in kajuraho/varanasi /agra.”
