“I arrived from London on the motorcycle and had a warm welcome with a lovely comfortable bed and a very good bathroom with a top class shower. Sadly I arrived too late for their delicious menu as the kitchen closes early on Sunday. But I will be back very soon as I have moved near Chester and Bala is only miles away. Highly recommended. “Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor.
Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over.
An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. ”
