Friendly desk staff, clean room. Fridge didn't have temp adjuster and contents froze, bottles broke.

It’s really ghetto in that area unsafe lots of gang activity the halls was nasty with poop and chips on the floor the doors was broken isn’t being properly cleaned I saw bed bugs
I can not say anything about the city in a whole because i did not leave the hotel. The area around the hotel was very poor.
No ever stay here no matter the price
There’s a diner called “Continental House of Pancakes” that has wonderful breakfast, highly recommend.
Calumet city used to be clean but over the years shows signs of wear like most of the south suburbs
