"The location is the best!, staff very nice"

"It was in such a great location. Walkable to everything. I happened to love throwing open the large window and hearing the sounds of life outside. But once closed, the room was very quiet. The staff was friendly , we had some laughs. The breakfast was very good. I loved the basket of breads each morning with jam and our American coffee. "

"I would not rate this hotel 4 stars unfortunately. We booked the anex rooms as they were the only options available though the rooms were dated. The entrance to the anex rooms are from the main road, away from the actual hotel with street bins left infront of the main doors every night. On one of the days the stairway lights wouldnt even work. Rooms were dusty and not vacuumed, and mould in the showers. The rooms are not soundproofed as stated.. the cleaners would have full on crystal clear conversations in the hallway first thing in the morning. Hotel stated the bar closes at 11pm though we were told by bar staff they were closed when we arrived at 10.30pm. Location is ideal though thats about it unfortunately. "

"I was expecting complete comfort and rest after the long journey, especially considering the high amount I paid for the room. Unfortunately, one of the rooms was not ready until 5 PM, and the other even later than that?! Just as the hotel charges the full nightly rate if I fail to arrive, they should also commit to refunding the cost of the first night due to their delay in preparing the rooms. What made me remain silent and show a great deal of patience was my appreciation for the hotel staff and their efforts."
