My go to stay every time I go to Cancun. Plutarco is amazing and always super helpful. This site is very close to the nightlife but far enough you can sleep with a quiet environment.

The place was clean! There is a mini mart near the hotel and a few decently priced restaurants. There was a lot of space in the room. There is a door to the bathroom (I couldn’t tell in the pictures and was worried about this). The bed is just ok. Overall, we enjoyed staying here!

I love that each room is themed after different stones. The place was quaint and quiet, nestled in a neighborhood but with easy walking access to the main street where the bus could be taken. There are several restaurants and small shops nearby, including a pharmacy. I always felt safe. The pool is smaller and half covered but it was still a chill spot to hang out. The people who work there are so kind and friendly. They also offer use of their kitchen and have more amenities than they list.

Casa Maraf Hotel is a great value! The location is a short walk from a few food options, and Tortuga Beach and the main Hotel District are also not far! The location is quiet and safe, and the room has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly helpful!

Property was fine, food options are sufficient, distance to places of interest are not the greatest but good for a tight budget. Facilities eg. Pool and washroom, and kitchen area can be improved. If youre only here to enjoy most of the day and sleep at night on a budget then this is the place for you.

Great hotel

I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheaper option then a resort stay but something still close to the main hotel zone. The location is perfect as it has stores 5 minutes away and the main beach (playa chac mool ) is only 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk. The hotel itself is very nice staff are friendly I stayed in the blue diamond which was very spacious and had ac and a balcony overlooking the pool . The only negative is there is no door between the toilet and room only covered by the wall.

This is my second stay here the first was in 2019. I really enjoyed it then. This time was a bit rougher, 7 days and no room cleaning. The outside still has the same unfinished rock facade wall from 2019 and the same construction debris. The staff was still very friendly and are the highlight of the place. It is unique and quiet.

We stayed at this hotel as our flight was canceled and rebooked for the next day. Room was large and clean. Security guard onsite at night which made the site feel secure. Neighbourhood was mostly residential and very quiet. Restaurant and convience store nearby.

One of the Best Budget Hotel in Cancun Hotel Zone.

Staffs were super friendly. Staff helped me to check-in 3 hours early. The room was very clean and spacious. I wanted to stay here more, but it was already booked. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come back to Cancun. The location is little far away from the main club area, but it’s good exercise to walk. There are convenience stores and restaurants in 3 minutes walk, so it was convenient.

The property was a good budget option if you want to be economical and want to avoid the resorts. It is a good place if you intend to be roaming around the city and will be using the hotel only to crash at night like me. The room given was very spacious enough for 2. It’s nice and quiet and around 20 mins walk to the main happening area. What I did not like about the place was that they did not have someone sitting at the reception 24 hrs and so for any problem I had to call the number listed on Google and then inform the person who picks up who will then communicate it to the guy who is somewhere in the premises. This is a major inconvenience and turn off.

Quite poor. Owner needs to invest in upkeep more. Stayed in 2 different rooms, both experiences were the same. Both rooms: all sheets, towels were very stained and very old Shower water smelled like sewage Pool filter was not functioning at all, quite dirty Mold growing on ceilings Ceilings cracking and breaking Pillows were lumps of nothing, and stained Beds very hard, and stained Wifi was almost unusable in both rooms Not very quiet, couldn’t get room to be dark enough Pros: No insects / bugs Decent location, closest beach access is 1.6 km away. Cannot access beach from across the street. Staff tried their hardest with what they were given. They tried to bleach the sheets and towels, but they are too old to be bleached again. Cleaning lady did a good job every time, she did everything within her power to make it clean. Reception lady was very nice and helpful. This place is starting to really get old and broken down, owner does not invest enough in proper upkeep. Will not return. If renovations are done, it could be a nice place. Or at least get new sheets and towels! It’s gross!

Not the quietest place , but its good value. safe area. 15-20 min walk to beaches, grocery store. Topaz room needs a new mattress, sagging on the side close to the tv. Wish Topaz room had a min fridge. Strong cool AC, hot water in shower lasts 1 minute then starts to cool. Excellent wifi strength. Pool was maintained every morning, pool lounnge are swept and outdoor furniture kept clean.

Great little hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. There was a lot of noise from the other guest rooms. The mini split in the bedroom worked really well. Unfortunately, the rest of the unit depended on that unit too, so the bedroom was always colder than the rest. Some outdoor things needed maintenance too. It was an easy walk to convenience stores and a few little restaurants. The staff was really friendly. I would have liked to have stayed longer and will opt for this location again if I can.
