โKen and Candi are a wonderful. Hardworking couple who care that you feel welcomed. Serve a great breakfast. Tell you about all the activities happening in the area. Keep the cookie jar filled for quests. This is a perfect place for the professional who is stressed out. Who needs some serious down time close to the water. Who can just unwind. Walk to some great restaurants. Just chill out in beautiful surroundings.โ
โProperty is located well in a very busy beach town. We had a rental truck and there was good parking options. Lots of food options around hotel. โ
โTraveling up Oregon/Washington coast. Long Beach was MUCH better than anticipated. Hotel was as close as you can get to the main beach access and one block walk from main downtown retail/restaurant area. We lucked out with excellent weather. Third floor (top) room provided great ocean vista.โ
โIt was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming, room was nice, comfortable and clean. Safe and walkable area. My only complaint is there was a sign above the ice machine requesting not to fill ice chests or coolers. Was a little disappointed I had to go to a gas station and buy a bag of ice when normally hotels and motels don't mind me filling my cooler with their ice machine. But that was literally the only downside, otherwise my stay was great. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. โ
โThe hotel has been renovated and restyled in a quirky, eclectic style in the best way. The rooms are set up spaciously, saunas and pool are clean and beautiful, board games and books are on each floor to borrow at your leisure, and the lobby has great snack and necessities available for purchase. The coffee bar is also fantastic. The bikes were very well loved and a bit rusty, but worked fine. The only downside was the distillery next door was terrible, everything else was stellar. โ
โAlthough it was very expensive, it was one of the best vacations Iโve had on the coast as a weekend getaway in my life something about being 600 feet across the Columbia and having the views of the ships and the bridge and the bar and the tides and everything else was amazing.โ
โIf I could give 10 stars for staff and service I would! The people really make this place an amazing place. Top that with the views of the ocean and upgrades that are being made on the grounds makes this place feel like hidden gem!! Iโll be back soon! โ
โGreat service all around. We forgot a couple of things and the staff went out of their way to help us get those items for our stay. Comfortable rooms and beds. And a great breakfast. Will stay there again. โ
โThis was a very special place to stay. Old fashioned charm, friendly host, comfortable room. A lovely rooftop gathering area with a great view! Relaxing and delicious morning breakfast included.
The only drawback for us was a Sunday farmerโs market which made access to the hotel and parking an issue until 3:00. Only on Sundays though.โ
โWe have to share the bathroom and the toilet. The soundproof is terrible. If you are taking your kids, please do not choose this hotel. They can hear some strange(?) sound in the midnight.โ
