We went visiting to Wales to see family 6 hours drive , the room was very comfortable but the dining experience wasn't good I explained to reception before leaving some of the food wasn't edible to eat We had spent over 200.00 on drinks and food he just said ohhhh I will tell the chef No customer service at all very rude

the Heritage park hotel is in need of refurbishment and care to enhance the stay. Mouldy furniture, urine soaked floor and raw food were some of the less desirable moments of my stay. Bar was well stocked and the staff were very friendly in this section. If you’re looking for an affordable stop off night, the hotel may service what you need. If looking for something more I’d look elsewhere.

Very run down and dated, room had a damp smell and could do with a bit of updating. Saying that the location was nice, the beds comfy, staff friendly and for the price I paid I wasn't expecting the ritz. Get what you pay for and overall certainly not unhappy with the stay

The public areas are fine. Decent bar and restaurant. The food was good, both breakfast and dinner. But the rooms are very dated and in need of refreshment. The bathroom was dreadful. The shower over the bath was poor. The shower curtain was continously wet and made the whole room damp and smelly. The television didn't work and had to be replaced.

Hotel is very old and worn and felt a bit dirty. There was a function on that they didn't tell us about which had really loud music playing until midnight which kept us awake. Then once the party had ended there were lots of drunk people shouting in the corridor. When we checked in we asked if we could have an extra 30 minutes on our checkout time but were told it would cost £10. Felt very unfair seeing as the room wasn't cheap anyway and we had lost a load of sleep due to the party. This hotel is overpriced for what it is, definitely not worth the money, and didn't seem to care about it's guests. I definitely would not stay here again.

Hotel needs updating, we did not have pillow cases on our pillows as they had ran out and had to wrap our pillows in towels. Bathroom door had dents and holes in it where someone has kicked the door and the carpet was filthy.

Loads wrong with this property. Looks nice on the photos but it needs a deep clean. Had to ask for the area around the bottom of our toilet to be cleaned because it was smelly. The rest of the bathroom floor needed cleaning too. Left the window open all the time because the room was smelly too. Again, just a deep clean needed. On our second morning some curtain hooks dropped off when we opened them. This left the curtain leaving a gap letting the light in. Gave the hooks to reception who said she would have it sorted. We came back to the hotel after a wedding at 11.30pm and it hadn’t been repaired. Woke very early next morning to bright daylight shining through. Other than these things, the staff were friendly, breakfast was nice and the bar food was ok too.

Really enjoyed my stay here the staff were polite and welcoming. The rooms are nice, nothing luxury but in line with the value and costs and the beds are comfortable and all clean. Breakfast was really nice and they did a full vegan breakfast which isn't always readily available. Nice good value hotel.

The staff were brilliant couldn’t do enough the breakfast is good value but the hash browns go soggy as in a tin to keep warm so the condensation sends them soggy and the whole place could do with closing for a couple of weeks for a thorough deep clean

Stayed last year everything was great hence went back this year. Had to change rooms as tv didnt work ( England was playing in Euros). Booked into dinner 7.15pm as told Sunday carvery till 8pm. At dinner then told carvery ended at 4pm! Yet a group of tourists were allowed carvery at 7.30pm, felt discriminated! Then were given wrong starter and dessert not what ordered. Hotel staff did take off one starter off bill then gave bottle wine as apology. But overall totally dissatified. There was only 3 female staff trying to cover reception, bar and restaurant. We didnt order a main meal as others on another table were complaining about their food. We stayed there for family funeral so was dissapointed with our stay. Did complete the form stating all this but never heard from hotel since.

Room was tired Bed very lumpy. Bathroom dated cheap plastic bath with shower in it. Sink old and cracked. Bath towel more like hand towel. Gym equipment old broken and very dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned in months.
