“The check in was superbly efficient. We were sown to our room Bridge house and settled in immediately. The room was very clean and had a lovely view of the campinile. Weather was glorious, a complete feeling of calm and quiteness throughout our stay. Sat looking out over the estuary for hours, thoroughly enjoyed exploring the village and it's history. “New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.”
