โThis was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldnโt have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help.
The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. โ

โIt's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.โ

The standard double room was small ,but was very comfortable, it had a 37 inch television on the wall ,a portable fan,a comfy king-size bed and tea and coffee ,hot chocolate and biscuits if you feel peckish, and a complimentary jug of ice cold water as well. โLovely 15th century pub with lots of character and beautiful setting. Family run and they really couldnโt have done any more to help us and make our stay a good one. Food exceptional. โ
โWe stayed in the room with two double beds. Itโs at the top of the hotel so the view was good. Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and fancy! We didnโt eat here so canโt comment on that but plenty of pubs in walking distance.โ
โWe stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure.
