The Agilia Ortigia Charme Hotel is absolutely superb. Firstly, we were lost in Syracuse, but when we called the hotel to get some guidance, very nice man name Marchello gave us excellent directions and then met us outside the hotel which was a huge help after a long day of driving in Sicily. After check in, we were given a tour of the the hotel by another hotel employee who was also very friendly. Everybody we met at this hotel was so accommodating and friendly. The hotel is located close to some of the major attractions...the archeological museum and the Greek theater are not far away. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There is an excellent cable service that includes CNN and the BBC. The breakfasts are superb. The management is friendly and attentive. The hotel has a certain classic charm. I have stayed here many times and am happy to recommend this hotel.
