"We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. It was quiet and though a little out of the way, it was near plenty of restaurants and grocery stores, and was perfect for our needs: a clean, affordable, comfortable hotel near Red Rocks Amphitheater. We also used their small outdoor seating area with a view of distant mountains. Will definitely stay again for our next concert."

"We stayed here because of the proximity to Red Rocks and the price. Our second stay at this hotel was better than the first a couple years ago. In fact, we'd forgotten we'd stayed here until we drove down and recognized the place. Because of our previous experience with staff, we entered the lobby with apprehension, but we had a really nice interaction at check-in with employee Daniel. He and employee Janelle (sp) were AMAZING, and made a huge difference in how much we enjoyed the stay. Pros: Great staff, good coffee brewed in the lobby (vs. the room), convenient location. Windows can be opened partway if you like fresh air. Very comfy bed and nice pillows Lots of parking available Close to Denver/Red Rocks with Red Rocks shuttle available at reasonable price of $35 pp round trip (although we found cheaper rate with Uber) Cons: Room clean but defnitely a bit dated. We did stay in one of the first rooms on the first floor. This was great for getting in/out quickly and for proximity to pool (I think they might have a sauna too?). This was not great for proximity to an employee talking very loudly in the hall outside our door early in the morning when we were still in bed. Guest laundry was out of order (although we didn't need to use it) AC was fine, but the unit itself had buttons with broken covers that exposed some wires. The wires weren't stripped, so there wasn't a chance of shock, but I was nervous to test it, so my fearless boyfriend did!"

"Small clean private room with double bed on the 3rd floor. Clean and comfy bed/linens/ pillows. Room was warm even with the window open (fan provided without request). Quiet, except for the ceiling fan was so loud even on low that we had to make do with the portable fan and just a sheet to sleep comfortably. Shared bathroom was a new experience for us as we had never stayed at a hostel before. Only 1 shower (so we skipped and showered at our next stop) womens bathroom stalls were very small, cant soeak for the mens. Didnt use the laundry units nor the beautiful pool in the front yard. The property is quaint in nature and had beautiful flower gardens. Parking was adequate the night that we stayed. Morning breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses as well as quality yogurt and other foods. Sadly for me, no decaf coffee. Orange juice so good as if it were fresh squeezed. Welcoming white wine was an added bonus. About an 8-10 minute walk to town central. Friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff. Satisfied with our stay and would consider staying again if in town."
