“To start, the check-in process was great. Front desk was super friendly. Where this property fell short was our room, and honestly, if it hadn’t been so late at night, we likely would have left. As we opened the door, the smell of smoke or stagnant moldy air billowed from the doorway. Typical room needs were met; bed, fridge, microwave, bathroom. However, there was a questionable stain on the bed sheets, a copious amount of black mold in the bathroom where the base boarding was peeling away by...

“We enjoyed our stay at The Brown County Inn. The accommodations were very nice. The room was very clean and updated. Had dinner at the restaurant and was very good. There was a farmer's market on Sunday in the parking lot. The hotel clerk was very helpful with things to see and do around Nashville. Must visit the Hard Truth Distillery! It was fantastic. The only negative was the mattress in our room. It wasn't the greatest and seemed a bit worn out. Other than that it was a great stay. ...

“The bar wasn’t open. Long way to have a drink in town. Was hoping for a drink when we got there.”

“I was very impress with this hotel. The entire hotel was very very clean. Pool facilities very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped my checkbook and didn't know. They went to extraordinary lengths to return my checkbook to me. This will be a place we will always stay when in Crawfordsville. Kudos to them all.”

“I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show.”
