“Very beautiful area and great staff. We booked "the LODGE" thru Expedia and when we checked in they sent us to some other rooms not inside the Lodge.(apparently overbooked)...these rooms were sad...no fridge...no cleaning service...walk up a large hill...very old and disappointing. The Lodge was much nicer...(where we thought we were going) and the amenities were good. We made the most out of it but sadly they would need to invest more into the property before I sign up again for another...

“We stayed in the windrose area and parking near our unit was not available however it was a Saturday on Memorial Day weekend. Just a note that it is open to the public. We stayed in an older unit that was okay. The addition of pools and bars since our last visit was nice to see! Steak Tacos at Landsharks were great!”

“We had an amazing stay at the Courtland hotel. The owner Frank made us feel like family. His passion for the history of Fort Scott and the hotel was contagious. Fort Scott is such a perfect charming town. So grateful we visited in our way to Kansas State.”

“We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...
