"This is a great option in Newport! Quiet and the pool is nice, and boat docks are fun atmosphere. Close to bayfront shops. The fact that the listing mentions restaurant/bar onsite, yet it doesnt mention that they are both closed on Mondays!!!..is definitly a problem and needs to be noted! We stayed on a Monday night, and we were counting on those amenities."

"The location is wonderful although reaching the beach is tough for elderly or infirm. The location with Georgie's restaurant next door is a big plus. I found the TV operating instructions were confusing although staff came and go it running."

"While the property looks a bit dated from the outside, our room was newly renovated with new paint and fixtures. Kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils. Enjoyed our stay and would be perfect for a gathering of friends. Extremely family and pet friendky"

"I made a mistake when I booked the date. The front desk attendant went out of his way to make it possible for us to stay despite my mistake. The property was older but has been updated in every way possible. The beds were comfortable and clean. There is no A/C but none was needed. It is right on the waterway and the restaurant on site was excellent, fantastic service, welcoming atmosphere, all handmade Italian, including the pasta. They offered local wines and a nice range of cocktails. A lot of the locals must eat there as well. The pool was not open and looked to be in repair but we would not have used it anyway. Great location from the scenic byway. Thank you!"
