For my first time in Waukegan, this was a great place to stay. It's close to an Enterprise rent a car, great service all around in this area. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Duncan donuts on the corner. Great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful.

The room was in poor condition, very outdated. Didn't seem very clean. My door had to be forced to shut all the way. When I came back from my show in the middle of the night the clerk was nowhere to be found and I had had my wallet stolen, which had my room key, so I was stranded in the lobby for a good hour. Every Motel 6 I've been to in the last year has been deplorable. Don't come here unless you have to.

So it was clean enough and bed was comfortable. Could have had a few more pillows. There were only 3. Just was noisy could hear music blaring all night outside. So a few times we woke up from that. Area also seems a bit shady definitely would make sure to be cautious going to and from your car. Staff were ok. Check in and out was easy.

We have stayed here in the past a few times. This time was absolutely awful. Roo. Was not clean, beding was old torn and stained with paint, smelled like cigarettes even though we booked a non smoking room. Hall smelled like stale cigarettes and Marijuana. Bathroom was not very clean. It was so noisy we had tk sleep with the TV on. We will definitely not ever be staying here again.

Room was not clean, door to room was incredibly difficult to open. Door to building had broken glass and did not lock. Blankets and sheets had holes in them (like mice had been chewing?), paint was chipping in room, bathroom was old and dirty, towels were not folded so potentially used. Whole place not worth it

It was ok for an last minute booking,he gave me a ground floor room because I told him that I couldn't walk up the stairs! I appreciate the microwave and fridge in the room, and the ice machine was excellent! I would stay there again.
