First impressions lasts. Check in day, front desk staff was unfriendly, politely asked if we can check in a bit early but even before my husband finish talking she was very dismissive with it.
Came back after check in hours and soon as we open the door a bad musty smell of the room was just awful. Being so tired from our red-eye flights we did not bother requesting to be moved as we donโt want to face the same rudeness.
Towels were so thin (overused, good for rags). I even have to go to the front desk office to have them replaced but managed to replace just one because he said the laundry is closed and will open 8:30am the next day. By the way we also have to ask from the front desk Toilet Paper every time, even though they know that we booked the room for 4 occupants only a roll they supplied in the room.
When we booked the room it says โupgraded beddings and snacksโ, nothing of this. Beddings were beyond standard, bed is not comfortable, every morning my back hurts! No snacks at all for the 6-days stay, no coffee in the room, we have to go to the office every morning for it, no hair dryer, on the 3rd day I need to request for it. Room isnโt cleaned, you have to ask for it. So I did twice.
Cockroach in the bathroom (I have picture to prove it) and the musty smell lingered all through our stay, can not ventilate the room as there were no windows.
Over all, will never again book any Red Roof +Plus property. Not sure what the plus for, as for us it is a minus!
