"Our stay at the Tropicana was very good. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds. Not a lot of room aside from the furniture but, it was fine for the amount of time spent in the room. The staff are very friendly. The bedding and surfaces were clean. The only issue we had with cleanliness was the carpet. I put on light colored socks that I had never worn before and after walking around a bit on the carpet, they were noticeably dirty. I guess direct access to the outdoors may cause that but, it was a bit disappointing. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and you can't ask for a much better location. We had an adjoining room and we could easily hear our neighbors. We could also hear the plumbing, footsteps and others using their washroom. The mini fridge was excellent and kept our beverages nice and cold and the microwave worked perfectly. The room had plenty of outlets but, none had built in USB so, be sure to bring adapters. The beds are a bit hard but, overall, the room was good and comfortable and I would stay there again."

"The main water line broke and we didn’t have water in our room for almost 2 days. They did tell us that they would refund us for the night we didn’t have water but we opted to stay another night for free. They could have been better at notifying us of the problem instead of staying silent but in the end they did better the situation "

"Great rooms for a great price! Staff is friendly. We left some of our things and they went above & beyond to return them to us. I had medicine delivered to the front desk. All of the above & beyond our hotel stay was handled happily and professionally. "

"Rooms are basic but generally clean. No bugs. Very dated buildings and rooms. Everything is old and very worn. Extremely slow service at the front “California” deli which is essentially the only place on property to get a cup of coffee or bottle of water. Gated lot charges 25 per day. Generally friendly but slow staff. "

"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were on a road trip and stopped in the area because I’ve never been to Disney. It was my first time at the park, and it was great to be in walking distance. Room was very comfortable for us (3 people), and price was very very fair. Would stay here again!"

"Upon arrival I was charged an extra $584 including a $300 deposit and $284 in state taxes they said. They charged me for that because they said the third-party website that I booked through which I had never even heard of before did not charge me taxes.After showing them that I booked through Expedia and already paid taxes they refunded the money and I have had a $5 charge and a $100 charge pending ever since even though the security deposit was supposed to be refunded. The room had tape and confetti on it from a previous stay. The AC barely worked. The bathroom tub and sink were dirty. There was also an earring on the ground in the room. Overall I was not satisfied with the stay whatsoever."
