We had such a wonderful stay at The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm and would absolutely come back.
We came from Southern California and stayed here in between DC and Manhattan while in town for my son’s lacrosse tournament, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. The rest of the team stayed at a Marriott, and I’m really glad we chose this instead.
The property is beautiful, peaceful, super clean, and set on gorgeous grounds. Pictures don’t do it justice. It has a calm, welcoming energy that makes it feel like a true retreat and the perfect break between cities. It feels like a mix of a high-end spa inn like Ojai Valley Inn or the Ritz-Carlton Bacara, but with the warmth and ease of a well-run Airbnb.
We traveled with our three teenagers, who stayed in Whispering Pines 204—huge room with plenty of space. My spouse and I stayed in Tranquil Skies 201, which was also spacious and comfortable.
The staff were consistently kind and welcoming, and Julie’s breakfasts were outstanding—fresh, homemade, organic, and something we looked forward to every morning.
The animals were a huge highlight: highland cows, sheep, goats, bunnies, ponies, geese, ducks, chickens, dogs, cat, pigs, and mini donkeys. Everything is well cared for and friendly. It’s great for kids, but our teens loved it just as much.
Having a full guest kitchen and laundry available made everything easy for a longer stay.
This would be great for a family reunion, girls trip, or wellness/work retreat
