"I'm grading this hotel based on the fair price I paid, not comparing it to the resorts where I paid double or triple price per stay. Its located close to the airport and water activities, you can take a bus any time to those. Ladies- bring shampoo and conditioner as they only provide shower gel and hand soap. Expedia travelers- you have a complimentary room upgrade and they ALWAYS have an extra room for you, remember that, so just ask. Big thanks to Leonardo M the manager for helping us with an upgrade. Food was good for the price of the hotel, everyone was very friendly. It's pretty loud in the room from the traffic outside and the traffic to the elevators inside. Its right on the beach, its pretty crowded as its public but the water is warm and very blue. Good hotel, not resort if you are looking for peace and quiet. "

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It was wonderful. It’s a smaller hotel compared to other we have been to before. Traveled with 12 and 6 yo. They have water slides, kids care, kids activities and entertainment. We didn’t try any of the morning activities such as yoga but they do have a daily schedule😁 Food was amazing, really great options, alcoholic drinks were great . We didn’t try all the restaurants but buffet had plenty of choices for us. Gym is big enough for your daily workouts. I want to stay again next time!"

"A la carte dinners were fantastic, although the included house wine is very limited and not great. If you want a basic bottle of wine, you’re looking at at least 2000 pesos. Buffet was average at best. We have a gluten allergy in our family, and there were ample choices at the restaurants, however, always ask for the vegetarian menu as it has more gluten-free options than the regular menu. Gluten-free desserts were very limited. Service is fantastic. There are a few pool bartenders that looked annoyed when you ordered anything that would create a little more work for them, but generally the restaurant staff and the pool staff are absolute gems. The gym facilities are newly remodeled and pretty nice. Lots of good equipment and lots of space, never felt crowded even in the busy mornings. If you’re a teenager is into working out, but isn’t 18, you need to sign a waiver and an adult has to be with them while they work out. Super annoying if your kid plays high-level sports or is really into working out and you have to be with the whole time. Other high end resorts, like Moon Palace do not have the same ridiculous policies. They also don’t have any classes, so no yoga, no spin classes, etc. They do have daily activities in the pool like water cycle and aqua size, but they’re really poorly advertised and hard to find a daily schedule anywhere. If you’re lucky you’re there when it begins. Coffee shop is just OK. Pool is great. All around pretty nice resort. "
