"I absolutely loved this property. The staff were great and bar and restaurant fabulous. Now if you want a Hilton or Travellodge this isn't for you. This is Quirky and Wonky and has stairs, no lifts. The rooms are rustic but perfectly functioning. There are cracks and wonky flooring. But its fun...well i liked it. The Bedding is clean. The bathroom was clean The TV worked, there was WIFI. Tea and coffe...great. There was no lamp in my room or Hairdryer. We asked but they didnt have. This is a very very old building but has good bones and a lovely atmosphere. Ample parking to rear of property. Beautiful outdoor area. Very quiet at night, but you may hear bar or restaurant depending on where your room is. Unfortunately i had a neighbour who was in and out and let the doors slam!! But thats no fault of the hotel. Definitely going back....just love it and the village its in"

"Overpriced & incorrectly advertised. Service incredibly slow, evening meal took well over an hour to arrive. Breakfast was wrong twice and completely overcooked. Contractors started working right outside my window at 0830 - would have been nice to get some warning or a reduction on bill."

"Lovely B&B, we really enjoyed staying over in Bibury… a very quiet little parish - but nice to be able to spend the day & enjoy both of the pubs. The B&B was ideal, much cheaper than staying at the Swan & only a few minutes walk into the ‘town’. Yes it was a little noisy, as has been mentioned before, but not really anymore than staying in a hotel I’d imagine + earplugs are provided if upstairs are too noisy for you! The room was nice - clean… comfy bed & soft bedding & towels. The breakfast was amazing - just enough choice & cooked just how you would like it. Limited parking but enough extra space opposite on the road - no issues really."

"Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel..."

We enjoyed two excellent dinners as well and recommend booking during busy periods. Lovely beer garden area and excellent staff. A perfect stay and highly recommend. Thanks!"
