“The place itself was immaculate. However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. We waited for over an hour and half for dinner and there was no advice on things to do on activities.”

“The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.”

“The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24.
