"Very thin walls… first two nights we couldn’t sleep from the snorting of the person next room.. the suites are nice and comfortable for two or three people but sofa bed is too small for two kids… another thing… can’t have pet friendly and carpets… is one or the other… smell can be a problem…"

Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

"Pelican Grand Beach Resort is a good choice for those looking for a quiet beachfront getaway, but it is not a resort with lots of activities or entertainment. The best part of the hotel is the customer service. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. However, I had to change rooms twice because the rooms I was initially assigned did not match the one I had reserved. One of the rooms was located directly across from the laundry facilities, and the vibration and noise could be felt inside the room. The pool and lazy river are both quite small, and there is very little for children to do. The rooms are basic, with a very small refrigerator and no microwave or kitchenette. Food and drinks on the property are expensive. Guests should also be aware of the extra fees, including valet parking of up to $70 per night and a daily resort fee of about $65. Overall, this hotel is best suited for a short stay of two or three days if your goal is to relax by the ocean. Families looking for extensive amenities and activities may find it somewhat limited."

"Clean, relaxing, extremely nice staff and free parking. An older hotel but extremely well maintained. I also stayed during the hot summer and stayed nice and cool inside the rooms. Bathrooms seem to recently upgraded. Especially for the price, couldn’t recommend enough if you are looking to stay near Wilton, downtown Fort Lauderdale."

"We arrived a little earlier and was accommodated right away by the lovely Cuban girl at the reception! Loved my stay there. Could not use the pool as had no time. I enjoyed the beach loungers and umbrella already set up! Thats one of the reasons I stayed at the hotel. For beach access! At night, walked a couple blocks to eat. Cant wait to be back."
