Spotlessly clean, very peaceful even though on a main road (hardly any traffic in the evening) Lovely gardens to sit in or even have a takeaway supper. Good value. Would definitely return.”

“Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good. The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable. Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though.....
