“Sehr schön restaurierte Schloss Anlage mit sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern und einem schönen Frühstück. Die Zimmer zur Strasse sind allerdings sehr laut, da die Anlage direkt in einer Kurve einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt. Man sollte darauf achten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu buchen. ”

“Wat een prachtige B&B ! Onze kamer (Gaugin) is eigenlijk een suite en smaakvol ingericht. Wie van antique houdt, is hier in een walhalla. De host verzorgt een uitstekend ontbijt en omzorgt zijn gasten met een warme gastvrijheid. Soissons zelf is een prachtig stadje me vrije brede lanen en prachtige bloemen.”

“Nous avons passé une nuit à la Fontaine Racine afin de découvrir la Cité Internationale de la Langue Française située à 15 mn en voiture. Cette maison familiale est pleine de charme, avec tout le confort. La décoration est épurée. L'accueil est charmant. Le petit déjeuner copieux. Nous n'avons pas pu profité du jardin en raison de la météo. La vue sur le canal de l'Ourq est un vrai plus, dommage que les chambres d'hôtes donnent de l'autre côté.”

“Friendly staff and very clean room”

“Exceptional place to stay. Parking is secure and the apartments are functional and clean spaces for family to stay and be comfortable particularly whilst road tripping France. ”

“It’s an average room and n an amazing situation. Staff were obliging and the restaurant a classic French Bistro. Couldn’t fault the food given that it was Bistrot food. Only nightmare was the parking. There is a public car park which is free about 400m away. If you drop your stuff off before parking it’s fine. If you choose to do it later it’s a 5 minute drive with the one way system. In any case a delightful town and good value accommodation”

“Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il ne travaillait plus avec expedia alors que j'avais une réservation avec expedia et donc il ne m'avait pas réservé de chambre. Par conséquent il m'a logé dans une chambre de dépannage sans aucun confort (juste un matelas sur le sol). Chambre située sous le toit alors qu'il faisait extrêmement chaud (période de canicule) et chambre qui n'était pas équipée de clim ou de ventilateur. J'ai passé une nuit exécrable.”

“This place is amazing. If you are looking for something unique with over 500 years of history then this is the place. The dining rooms are covered in pictures from the poems of Jean de la Fontaine, because why not. The staff are also really friendly.”

“The room were clean but the bedding felt a little dirty. It was very noisy and we had to ask the neighbors to stay quiet past 11pm. The car park had a random van with black curtains parked in the corner of the car park. The beds were not as comfortable. ”

“Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. (There were other restaurants in easy walking distance.) I look forward to staying there again.”
