“Not for a sleeping or showering freezing cold apartment no heating available ”

“This was a nice apartment with a great view of Cusco. The owners (while not english speaking) were very nice and even organised washing for us. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen / lounge area was nice. A couple of things to note about the property. In winter it gets quite cold (there is a oil fin heater provided). The bathroom is very little (which is standard for Cusco) and the shower has a retrofitted heater shower head. These seem to be in all places that don't have a hot water supply,...

“Way to go! My family of 4 (with two young kids) really enjoyed the apartment because of the location and quiet home-like feel. Everything in the city was perfectly walkable: the local market, bakeries, coffee shops, the main plaza, Sacsayhuaman. We found it to be an ideal base for exploring and we felt very safe. The apartment was clean. Some of our favorite things were 1.) the endless hot water tank, which meant great showers 2.) the rooftop deck, which we had access to, had a wonderful view...

“The area was perfect - close to the main square and attractions but not right in the middle of all of the bustle. Unfortunately, the apartment was dirty and shabby. It was also frustrating that there was nothing in the kitchen--not even a pour-over or french press--for making coffee.”
