“We stayed in a family room for two nights and overall had a good stay. The room was comfortable with nice view, but housekeeping needs improvement. There were sweets left from the previous guest on arrival, the toilet had a bad smell with no refresher, and the toilet tissue was partially used and not properly replenished we ran out on the last day and eventually gave up calling reception. We also assumed housekeeping was daily, but it wasn’t, and we had to request service after running out of...

“I was disappointed to find that despite what it said on the Hotels site the Red Lion did not organise parking if you phoned. I had to park 5 minutes walk away and thankfully it was not raining too hard. With no food at the pub food choices were a little limited but luckily there is a very good take away pizza shop 50 metres away. The breakfast I had was very good so no problems with that.”

“Kitchen was stocked with bread, butter, milk and jam, which was lovely but there was NO tea or coffee. However, given how dirty some of the mugs were, that probably wasn't a bad thing. There were also dirty trays left in the oven and drawer. Rest of cottage was clean thankfully. However, frustrating as limited power points, and no shaver socket in bathroom for toothbrush. “Fabulous location just a stones throw from the beach. Everything you needed was in the cottage. Floors a bit creaky but to be expected in an old building. No trouble parking on the street though not sure if this is the case in the height of summer. Bit confusing about rubbish(other than a weekly collection mentioned) but found recyling bins on the promenade and a biffa bin near the harbour for general waste. Good collection of books (read 2 during my stay!)Would happily stay at Bari again.”
