“The room was asceticly pleasing but it was dirty and the tv didn’t connect to the WiFi”

“Helpful staff, good breakfast and clean rooms.”

“Fantastic Place to stay and the rooms are so clean. You even have a lovey restaurant and bar that serves tapas. Will come again soon.”

“Arrived early as we were going to a matinee show in the Millennium centre. Although our room wasn't ready there was a place to store our belongings safely. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast is amazing.”

“The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!”

“Aircon was a bit noisy in the room, pool And sauna were closed for refurbishment and don’t seem to have read this prior to booking?”

“Great stay at St David's. Fresh lobby area. Welcoming staff. Super clean and comfy room with balcony. Excellent restaurant.”

“Copthorne is now our home in Cardiff every time we are in the City. The staff are always amazing specially Ryan.”

“Very tired - room large but furniture very old and rooms in need of a refresh.”

“The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.”

“The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station”

“My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I appreciate a kettle and hairdryer that are not directly wired to the mains and can be moved. Having stayed at other hotels in Cardiff this is one I would return to.”
