The rooms are so clean, the price is so affordable and it’s directly on the beach! Plus they have a wonderful little breakfast and an awesome coffee machine!! This was one of the most accommodating places I’ve ever stayed and the price was the best! I’d recommend this spot to anyone and everyone visiting the area!!

The hotel isn’t fancy but it has some great features. It basically grows on you and becomes family. The location is great, beach access ideal, coffee always available and delicious, breakfast is sufficient, the rooms are dated but they work - the price is right. We enjoyed the comfy beds and the staff was approachable.

My son and I had an amazing stay at Beachside Hotel in Daytona Beach! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hotel was very clean, pet-friendly, and perfect for families. We truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend! 🏖️🐾

Pros: First off I will just say that this location is amazing! It’s quiet, private and away from the heavy crowds. There is a great little restaurant across the street called The Cracked Egg Diner that serves breakfast and lunch. Crabby Joe’s restaurant is very close too & within walking distance from the beach. Cons: Ok, I am not one who usually takes time to write reviews, however, the major issue I had with this hotel was that the POOL IS NOT HEATED or the heater wasn’t working properly. We tried several times to bring up the issue and were always given the run around. We have teenagers who were very restless because the weather was cooler than expected and they could not even swim. My kids take full advantage of the pool when we travel so not having this amenity was game changing. The staff was not helpful. They offered excuses rather than solutions when it came to the pool & never messaged us about updates. The front desk said they would and did not. For this reason alone, I will probably not stay here again. Breakfast was ok. It was all microwave and grab and go stuff but it is what I expected so I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee machine in the lobby was a plus also. We traveled with our dog and there was a little dog park area about a 1 minute walk from the hotel which was convenient. Our room was very spacious and clean. It seems like it used to be 2 rooms that joined that they made into one large family suite & it was perfect for our family of 4 and our pet.

This is an "old Florida" hotel that has survived and been well maintained, which is nice. Plus, the Atlantic Ocean is right out your balcony! The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. The continental breakfast was a plus and was sufficient. But, the custom coffee machine was to live for! These are the things my wife and I liked. This is a pet friendly hotel, which is great for those with pets. We do not have pets nor do we smoke or drink alcohol, so our senses are pretty keen. Sadly, the linens have a slight hint of wet dog smell. I imagine this is because the laundry can not be sorted in animal and human bundles for washing. And I don't think they had any type of sanitizing equipment. So sadly, the linens have that hint of wet animal smell. For most, it probably doesn't matter, if noticed at all. But for us, we noticed. Nice hotel though for those traveling with pets..
