Best part of this hotel was the ocean view. Check in was late and front desk kept saying it was housekeepings fault, got a room went up and the floor was wet and had to get a different room, elevator was broken so only one working and it took forever to get up and down from 8th floor, steps to beach closed even tho it looks like an easy fix.

Room had an ocean view. Our only huge complaint was we rent two rooms for Bike Week, yet bikes were welcome but no parking was reserved for bikes as at every other hotel we’ve stayed at previously for Bike rallies. That was a huge disappointment as we were having to fight with limited parking in general then trying to maneuver the bikes in and out of the crowded car filled parking lot. One night our bikes with a few others only had parking available UNDER the balconies and we woke up to several spits on one bike and ashes on another! Also, there was no trailer parking on site which wasn’t specifically noted in the online description of hotel. The staff was all very friendly and breakfast was well. The beds were comfortable which was a huge plus. You can tell hotel is dated but didn’t expect much more it being right on the ocean.

Je ne conseille vraiment pas cet établissement, le stationnement est beaucoup trop petit pour la quantité de gens, il n’y a pas de place suffisante et le stationnement est risqué lorsqu’il est plein de plus les gens à la réception ne sont pas très accueillant, et ils ne sont pas connaissant des après près de l’hôtel en terminant au niveau de la propreté c’est vraiment pas idéal il y a beaucoup d’odeurs de produits partout dans l’hôtel dans notre salle de bain, il y avait des cheveux et des ongles parterre ainsi que du chocolat. En résumé je ne conseille vraiment pas cet établissement.

The staff were great! I was in room 714 and the sliding glass door didn’t lock. This is a huge safety concern for families. In addition the lobby smelled heavily of natural gas. We were told that it was from the boiler or laundry room. Regardless, it’s not a great smell or first impression.

I wanted so badly to like this hotel but it is really a disaster right now. No pool, no beach access, limited parking. Cigarette butts on the floor of our room when we arrived. My daughter got a rash from the sheets on night one. I am pretty sure they weren’t cleaned before we arrived. We asked for our room to be cleaned every day and it was not cleaned once in 6 days. On days 4 & 5 I called twice a day. Finallysomeone came in took the trash and left more towels but didn’t take the pile of old ones or make the beds or anything else. So strange. The Continental breakfast was supposed to be until 10 every day but food was not replaced after 8 or so. There was yogurt and fruit one day but not put out the rest of the days. The tea ran out the first day we were there and never replaced. On checkin we were told there was a parking fee of $15/night even though this was not listed anywhere on Expedia. We asked for it to be waived due to the fact that the hotel amenities were all closed. They agreed and then charged us for it on checkout anyway. I have called twice to have it removed & it is still on my card. This made the hotel cost per night more expensive than some of the newer hotels that still had pools and beach access. The only positive was front desk staff were nice and really seemed to want to help. KayC in particular checked on us and genuinely wanted to try and make our stay better, there was just no hope right now. What a mess of a Christmas trip. Never again.

This was a perfectly adequate stay. We loved our balcony looking straight out onto the beach. The room looked clean enough but had kind of a wet-dog smell that made me concerned about mold. We weren't interested in the pool so no issues with it being closed though it was rather unsightly. Parking was limited but we did always find a spot. Staff were friendly and kind. We had no remote in our room so we called the front desk and they said they would "send up a hosekeeper to check." After an hour we put out our do not disturb sign and just went to bed. The next day, I asked at the front desk and they just pulled out a remote from a drawer and gave it to me.... a bit annoying that thdy couldnt have done that the night before. Breakfast was okay. Hot options included premade Western omelets and chicken sausage, nothing plainer such as scrambled eggs. There were hard boiled eggs available. Waffle maker was down. Overall the stay didnt wow me but served the purpose. The only real complaint I had was the $15/day charge for parking. Come on. When you make a reservation at a hotel it is assumed that you will most likely arrive in a vehicle. And this wasn't off site parking, it was right on the hotel property. Spaces were limited due to construction, that was understandable. But a place to park your car should be considered one of the most basic amenities. So as I said, adequate. But there are properties nearby that are comparably priced and I will probably try one of those next time.

Our room wasnt ready at 4 as said. We came back later and was put in room. Pools closed and no beach access. The refrigerator didnt work, the hotel phone was dead and the toilet was plugged after 1st use. We swapped rooms. The phone didnt work, lamp didnt work and balcony door was hard to open and close. I was very disappointed. Not normal Hampton Inn quality to say the least.

The view from the room was excellent. Pet friendly. Breakfast was very good. I'm not used to paying for parking in a dirt lot across the street. A bit disappointed about no access to the pool or deck due to damage from the storm. Overall I would consider staying again if in the area.

The hotel needs to be updated. Our room had a musty smell and you could barely open the door to the balcony. The tile was coming off the wall in the shower. Breakfast very limited no waffles. Pool not open they should tell you that before you book not after.
