“Comfort and helpful in everything”

“We enjoyed the buffet however there was a need to keep the food more sanitary. A number of the cheeses and meats as well as the cold salad were out for hours without any shields or refrigeration. We did notice the tamarijn had them in a refrigerator compartment but Divi did not. Hopefully the redone buffet area will pay more attention to safe dining. “Absolutely loved this resort! The food was great, pool/beach area was clean and well maintained. Didn’t have to get up at day break to find a chair on the beach. Staff are very helpful and speak 4 languages fluently. Hotel is within walking distance from lots of shopping and bars. Definitely stay here again. Only con was hot water in the shower. But the room was comfortable and spacious.”

“We reported a wall plate for HDMI was completely off the wall but wasn't addressed. Bathroom and water in the room smelled like sewer. We were upgraded to a room right at the pool which was very convenient and a 30 second walk to the beach. No ocean view but that was okay! “The Pool and Beach chairs have a ridiculous reservation system. You have to reserve your pool chairs and if you don’t get there by 9:00am you lose your reservation and have to pay $60.00 for Non-Comp chairs, per day! The Beach chairs, if you would like to sit by the water/ocean are $80.00! They say this is for safety and avoids arguments over held chairs. I could understand their “safety” reason, if “safety” wasn’t $60-80 dollars! It’s just a quick money grab. It is a bad look for the Hyatt...

“This property was amazing! So clean and beautiful, multiple pools and beach access - the sunsets were unreal! Breakfast was so good we looked forward to it everyday and the cafe that was open until 11pm was great! The strip was right across the hotel, many places we had to go to we just walked across. While we did rent a car we felt like we really didn’t have to (other than to go to baby beach) as everything was within a 2-10 minute walk. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting...

“There was a roach in the middle of the lobby bar. We originally booked the place and at the last minute they told us the palace was closed so they moved us to Antillas. The restaurants were always full and at capacity so had to eat the buffet every night.”

“Rooms were well maintained and clean. Passions on the Beach makes the place worth while for good appetizers and drinks. Beach is beautiful and the lounge chairs are nice also. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cons: pool very small, room service won't answer the phone tried 2 different days phone rings and then goes back to operator. It's a great place to stay for the price and location. Would recommend.”

“Wi-Fi was not working for long time. Asked for 30 minutes favor to check out I had one year daughter with me still they told me i have to check out on 10 am. But I checked in around 2pm Room was not ready They has to be more flexible”
