"Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room. Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!"

The resort is so cool- it’s rich with music history and it’s decorated in Bahamian style with porches overlooking the sea. We loved it! The staff was very friendly and helpful. "This was my second time back to the beautiful island, I love it there and will be going back. My only complaint would be due you covid and being under staffed the property is not fully operational. I think there needs to be more posting up of what is open, blocked off, available and so on posted for the visitors. That would make things a little easier as you walk around the property."

"First time in Bahamas but not my first Riu. This Riu property by far was the best one to date. What i liked: property is not overly big and you can find everything pretty easily. The staff was superb especially Vera Carter as a head chef. The beach was outstanding. My ocean view was worth every penny. Food was good. What i didnt like: jerk chicken grill had the same menu every day - please change it up. No ATM on property - you have to go to the Atlantis. Add a bit more entertainment at pool...
