Easy check in, lots of parking, clean pool, playground, picnic tables, grill should you want it & the hiking mountains are very close (why we were in the area). We were on the 2nd floor and it was so very quiet. Rooms and stairwells definitely need some updating, but very clean. Bed I found was really comfortable. Restaurant next door is convenient....

“The staff were amazing. I like the idea of the Spark hotels but this one had just opened and has some things to work out. First-they were overdoing cleaning with Fabulosa and our room stunk so bad we had to change rooms-the staff was very accommodating when changing our room. 2-towels were brand new/never washed so when you dried off with the towels you had little white fuzzies all over your body. 3-the floors looked dirty but it was just sloppy construction grout that was caked on the tile...

“As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. What I found was a motel that was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The innkeeper was delightful. I would stay there again. ”
