“Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Room was very clean and we were impressed of how well it was laid out and how spacious it was. The sink in the kitchen area along with a small refrigerator and microwave were nice amenities to have during our stay. The small balcony was a surprise, and we did use it to enjoy the pretty weather. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very well maintained with lots of beautiful flowers and plants. “The hotel is a unique property with many of the quirks that accompany old buildings. Overall, our stay was quite nice and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Check-in was easy and the room was clean and prepared for our arrival and the bed was quite comfortable. We had a few minor room maintenance issues toward the end of our stay, but since they occurred at the end, it did not disrupt our visit. “This is a very charming inn. The furnishings are dated, however, it is ok, given the location. It is a great place to stay, however, they do need to update the mattresses the new generation pillow tops.”

“We did not feel as secure as we do with key entry. The water pressure in the sink was low. The bed was warm and comfortable. The shower and tub were very nice and clean. The fireplace was relaxing. It was quiet. We did not have time to use the hot tub. We had a good trip and would stay here again.”
