“I loved this resort! It was so beautiful on the West Bay beach. Staff was so friendly, always had a smile and willing to help. My only con which I wish I looked into before was that there was no fitness center on the grounds. Other than that I had an amazing 4 night stay at the Mayan Princess.”

“I really wanted to love this property because the location is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We stayed here from June 16–23 with a group of seven. During our stay, our section of the property experienced repeated power outages while other areas of the hotel still had electricity. We also went two nights without hot water. We found insects in our room during our stay. I understand that this is a tropical destination and seeing an occasional bug is expected, but...

“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation. The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case. “The hotel was so cute and clean and right across from half moon bay. Restaurants, bars, shops and water taxi within walking distance. The staff was amazing and so nice. It also has the most beautiful sunsets. We will definitely be back to Roatan and stay at Mr. Tucan!”

“This was the best trip I've ever been on! The Villas were just as described, so clean, and the room was cleaned every morning while we were at breakfast. The grounds were so beautiful and maintained wonderfully. The location was perfect if you are looking for a slower, relaxing environment, and access to the reef was incredible. The staff could not have done their jobs better, Sasha, Noel, Rose, everyone... The perfect curated group to make every aspect of our trip seamless. Food and drinks?...
