“Excellent room, excellent food but the best of all was the staff. They were incredibly personable, extremely helpful and hardworking and always courteous even when I noticed other guests being unreasonably rude. I generally felt as though I could have just hung out with the staff while they were working. I would highly recommend this place.”

“I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!”

“I loved the location of this property! The buildings themselves have so much potential. The insides are very outdated and run down. The coffee maker was burnt and stuck to the warming plate and the sheets had drains. BUT you can’t beat the location and super friendly staff. The pool was super clean and warm with a nice outdoor shower. I would definitely come back here if they lowered the price for current condition of the buildings. And I would bring my own sheets. The hotel is located along the main road to West End, and can be somewhat noisy with loud motor bikes, but this noise level would be the same at other properties as well.
