“Hotel was clean though a bit tired. We paid extra for a pool view. Breakfasts were good, good selection and could request porridge, scrambled eggs etc which we did. Staff very helpful and nice to have a pool. One of our party was vegan and was accommodated with food.”

“The hotel was right on the beach which was easily accessible via steps. The sand really was golden and fine, perfect for kids. Breakfast was very good. The view from our room was great, looking over the entire bay. We kept our windows open at night to hear the waves and feel the breeze. There was no air conditioning so this was necessary on hot days.”

“We had a wonderful week. The staff were, without exception, always cheerful very helpful and obliging. The spa area was fantastic, I had a lovely massage! The location of the hotel is second to none - the bus station just around the corner. Unfortunately the price of drinks and food in the hotel was prohibitive even dearer than other restaurants in St Helier.”

“A marvellous chateau style hotel. Loved walking into the place with its great staircase. A bit of a distance from the the coast although a shuttle bus is provided. Good food and helpful staff….could change the menu a bit more often. Bedrooms were clean, spacious and well maintained.”

“My wife and I spent five nights at the Westhill Country Hotel on a bed and breakfast break and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is clearly well cared for, with a warm, welcoming team who were always present without ever feeling intrusive. Every amenity—from the dining areas to the leisure spaces—was spotless and well maintained. It made for a relaxing, enjoyable stay that felt both personal and professional.”

“Rooms clean however, no air-conditioning room was extremely hot and stuffy. Bathroom outdated, avocado bathroom suite no shower cubical, needs upgrading shower over bath not good and no water pressure made having a shower difficult. Breakfast excellent evening meals can't be faulted either.”

“A lot of scaffolding all around the building , blocking out all sea views from the lounge and dining areas. Very noisy in the morning. We only booked this hotel because of its position and views and although we were told that their price did reflect this , we would not have booked if we had known”

“Sehr gut direkt am Strand gelegenes hübsches Hotel mit Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist selbst ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sehr sauber und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück und Möglichkeit, dort auch das Abendessen oder einen Drink einzunehmen.”

“The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. It was hot outside so the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a car the Pomme D'Or does not have its own car park. You have to use the car park of a sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away.”
