"Tough review. This is a five star location as far as I am concerned.. Little to complain about. Responsive staff.. I could live here easily and be quite comfortable.
The food was all at least... a 4 out of 5 which is really good for the philippines in general.
The villas are top notch. We really enjoyed our two nights.. but.
1. Calling the room (more than once) to ask if we are coming to eat dinner when we were explicitly told last order is at 8pm... The calls started before 6pm.. One call. That's ok.. more than one. Just tell us if the cook wants to go home early otherwise you are interrupting your customers.. really.. it was bizzare to get called multiple times.
2. 600 pesos to borrow a 2 person kayak for 1 hour.. I dunno.. that's a hard one to swallow considering barely anyone was accessing them. 200-300 pesos.. I am on board. It's overly expensive for what it is. Everything was dropped on the beach.. no assistance.. no ensuring life jackets are used or fit.
But... I have to say.. it was a great stay.. at a great place and location is perfect.
I would recommend it to anyone for sure I just hope they will think about the two points above. Little things but they left us feeling a little less than the perfection we had and were enjoying."
