“Hotel rooms do not cool. We had the thermostat all the way down it didn’t get below 70”

“The breakfast wasn't great and it didn't offer many options. But our room had a shower door that didn't close right so water was all over the floor. Our bedside clock kept flashing and we couldn't get it to the actual time. Annoying during the night and the room darkening shade didn't close all the way. Rough night.”

“The room and bathroom were very clean. The pool is huge. The hot tub was very very tiny. A small square. On the pool door, they call it 'a spa'. The only complaint we had was the breakfast. There were moldy oranges in the fruit basket. They did not keep up with the hot foods (sausage, eggs,etc). We ended up at McDonald's for a quick breakfast sandwich on the way home. No orange juice. “We were definitely prepared for an older hotel experience but it seems more rundown than we expected, some maintenance overall making sure everything works like the pool & major upgrades on the rooms would go a long way to really making this a more exciting experience to stay at a Route 66 memorabilia venue.
