“My first room was a bit of a disappointment, but when I was moved to a ground floor room for my last two nights, it was a real “wow!” moment when I saw the view. The restaurant was closed, so no breakfast was on offer. It would have been useful to know this up front. The staff were very kind and helpful.”

“The hotel is very well situated for exploring the full area of the Shetland Islands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space and there is a fuel station next door and a very good fish and chip shop across the road, both of which are very useful.”

“We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. One of the best aspects is that the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Commercial Street, and within easy walking distance of most of the many...

“Beautiful views of crofts and the sea. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed especially comfortable with cotton sheets and cushy duvet. Teas and coffee were available. Breakfast absolutely delicious with the host preparing any level of breakfast need.”
