“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonesta. We truly enjoyed our dinner at the patio restaurant. The food was delicious and our server was great. We loved sitting by the adult pool and at the fire pit. It was so nice to order frozen drinks right from our poolside lounge chair. We rented bikes and had a great time riding around the island. “The staff were friendly and very helpful. The view from our room was amazing! Easy to walk to good restaurants. My husband and me came to simply relax and enjoy the beach. It was nice to not have to drive around to have great food next door or in the hotel restaurant. Do wish that after several visits to this facility it’s starting to be run down around the pool and hot tub was in need of some real attention. Even so, we will return because everything else has been great. ”

“We loved that they had a free shuttle to downtown historic Charleston. You could also take the Water Taxi for a small charge. The room was very nice and we had a great view of the harbor/ocean. Overall it was a great stay!”
