“Clean but older property. Smelled of dog.”

“A lovely unique old school hotel. Very nice staff & good old fashioned service. An excellent breakfast & good options on the drinks. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room & a nice little fridge with a couple of bottles of water in. I was also lucky to be able to use the hotel car park which is nearby & was included in the price. The only problem was the lack of air conditioning in the room. “The hotel is outdated and in a very poor state of decor. Paintwork old and flaking,windows filthy, carpet not even hoovered, superior double costing over £200 was appalling. Two single beds shoved together and not even joined, sink plug stuck in down position, had to lift out to get it to drain, sink cracked, toilet seat loose, bathroom flooring cracked...and so on. Breakfast booked but nothing available, kept having to wait for items to be fetched and cooked, staff very slow indeed. Overall...

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.”

“Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits.”

“On arrival at the Hamilton was greeted by five other guests who also found their key codes wouldn't let you in to the property! After calling the number provided on the email we all received we were able to ascertain the code for the door wasn't the same as the one for our rooms, as this wasn't clear on our 1st emails!! “Homely and welcoming accomodation in remote part of Lincolnshire. Food is only served to b and b guests, and bar is only open in evening. Perfect for visiting places such as Tattershall and Woodhall Spa”
