โpeaceful stay at the house of a local dutch lady who was very helpful and pleasent . the room was very basic and all i really needed as i was out most of the day of my 4 day visit . sezane has a lovley little dog called "pomy" which i hope is well xxx kisses from across the sea pomy . the area was fantasic as it was very close to the museum quarter , but you can only get tickets online to the VAN GOGH museum which i missed ill get there next time โ
โGreat property in great area. Close to great bars and restaurants and to the museum quarter. I will definitely stay again when in Amsterdam. Fantastic breakfast too!โ
โI stayed for four nights, but I wouldnโt choose to come back. I wasnโt able to communicate with the staff at all, even when I encountered issues such as a poorly draining sink.โ
โThe hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Always very friendly. The rooms, at least the one we stayed in, was not very huge but was big enough that it was very comfortable. No A/C but that was not an issue even in 1st week of august. Nice breeze through the window and the street is extremely quiet.
Location is perfect. A few minutes walk from all the designer shops, museums and central area, primarily the section with antique shops and art galleries....
"I picked this hotel because of the location. Other than the location, this hotel has NO value. Very old building, very small room, smell like an old wood (not in an affectionate way), and the bathroom amenities are 3-in-1 shampoo only that is a low quality. "
