"Located in heart of OB. The hotel is easy to park and right on the beach. Rooms and bathrooms are small and very clean. The room was a bit noisy—you can hear other rooms (TV, conversations) and you are in the flight path for LAX so we heard planes constantly at night. If you like being in the gritty and lively part of the beach and don’t need luxurious accommodations, this is a great, clean and convenient choice. You can walk everywhere. Great view of beach and people watching."

"Definitely a family/children focused property. Lots and lots of kids. Walls are thin to adjacent room. Room was basic. Resort fee was overpriced. Grounds are pretty. Staff friendly. "

"Nice warm and clean pool. For the cost if you stay a little bit further out, the quality, cleanliness, and newer facilities are available around hotel circle. You’re mainly paying for location and ai was aware of that, with the exception of how loud surrounding neighbors were and elderly rooms were, I was content based on the location."

"Super cute, hip, hotel with beautiful grounds and the best view of the ocean. The kids loved the pool and all the pool amenities. Drink your beverage by the firepit for the best sunset view! The only reason why I would give it four stars, is because it could use some updating, but it appears the owners are making an effort."
