4/10 Poor

"Had a problem with the shower as there was no hot water. Husband had a cold shower but not only that but the water goes everywhere. Very nice member of staff who upgraded our room , we now had a window with hot water and a coffee machine that worked once. Still a dreadful design of the bathroom you need towels by the door!! Bloc is not cheap! It was the first time we used this hotel but would not use again unless half the price."

"Walking through the corridoors you see fire doors that dont close, intumescent strips sticking out. If there is a fire in this hotel, people will die. There are fire doors chained closed which will compound the problem. We approach the stairwell to our room and there is a metal fire escape stairs which is entirely unmaintained. Around these are blinds hanging damaged. Clearly the place is not maintained. The we get to our room. A convoluted entry system means you have to take multiple trips to reception where nobody is around to get this sorted. In the room eventually, there is a bed frame smaller than the matress just waiting for someone to fall out. A towel rail in the bathroom has a wire where the chords are sticking out just ready for a child to pull and be electrocuted. Thats the best bit of that wiring, on the other side of the wall the fixed wire system the towel rail was wired to has been bypassed by a flex that goes who knows where. Then theres a door held together by metal straps onto a poorly maintained balcony. Who dares stand out there is a braver person than i. Then we have a random cable hanging down with a choc block on the end. Who knows if its live or not. I will not be going any where near it, however it it dangling over the curtains so any short and were on fire. The lighting is controlled by one main switch and all other switches control who knows what. Then back to the bathroom, the fan comes on randomly linked to the next room. Terrible, scary!"

"The hotel room was comfortable and clean enough. However the staff wasn't very helpful nor smiley. They didn't give any explanation on the shuttle service to the airport terminals upon arrival (it's an airport hotel, it's the bare minimum!). I had to ask about the shuttle. The clerk just showed me the schedule but didn't say we needed to buy a ticket for the shuttle. Experience at the hotel was okay for a one night stay near the airport no more."
