“The property was in an excellent location. Walking distance from grocery stores, restaraunts and a wonderful walking path along the Duoro. Having an outside patio with a view of the river was was a relaxing place to spend our time. The patio furnature was comfortable, the swimming pool was refreshing. The beds and couch were comfortable. Carla and her husband were kind hosts bringing us bottles of wine and fruit from their garden. They were prompt at answering Whatsapp each time we reached...
“The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!”

“This is hands down one of the prettiest and coolest properties you can stay in, in rural Portugal. The property, room and pool and service was amazing, but the town itself situated in is also just one of the coolest experiences. So many handmade items included in your stay and available to purchase. The host is amazing, super friendly and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, unique and has so much character. We stayed here for a night after taking the train into Pochino and it was one of the...
“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...
“Clean room. Good communication with host. Nice property. River views.”

“Javardo er et charmerende hus, i landlig idyl, hvor man kan være helt for sig selv på den store flotte grund, med en fantastisk udsigt til Douro floden. En klar anbefaling!”
“We were informed that we should contact the property 24 hours before arriving. We tried on numerous occasions to no response. Eventually we got a reply from a person who did not speak any English. Then we got a response from the lady in charge 24 hours after the original time. By then we were in the house. The property was very clean. The beds uncomfortable ,the kitchen well equipped. The location was superb on the banks of the Douro. The biggest problem was the toilets were broken. The lady who...
“Andre and Susanna have created a stay that is unique and special. The house is a gorgeous restoration—easily one of the most beautiful spaces we've stayed in. The hospitality was warm, generous, and sincere. We were treated to a taste of Moncorvo’s traditional regional culture.
